Local Priorities Mobile phone theft Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Your local SNT is aware of the increase in phone thefts (snatches) in the area. We have joined the neighbourhood wards in order to tackle this issue.

We had a mix of Plain Clothes Officers in Cars and on the Bus, Officers in Uniform on the Bus and on Foot and also Officers on the Bike.

We understand the concerns from the public and we are working on tackling the issue.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
